FINANCIAL PROGRAM

UE NEXT GEN MIMI START 4.0

Tenders for grants for industrial research and experimental development projects in the area of enabling technologies 4.0 for the security of critical infrastructures (‘Tender – 2023 – start4.0’)

ARHYOSA™ has been presented at the IIW 2025 GNS 13 International Conference, which took place in Genoa at the Porto Antico Conference Center – Magazzini del Cotone, from June 22 to 27, 2025 – IIS – MYWAI Booth No. 10 (1st floor).

THE PROJECT

ARHYOSA™ is an innovative Italian initiative coordinated by the innovative startup MYWAI™ (www.myw.ai), in collaboration with partners Ansaldo Green Tech™, Knowhedge™, TICASS™, and the Istituto Italiano della Saldatura™. It is designed to support machinery and infrastructure manufacturers in the green hydrogen production sector. The platform integrates advanced AI algorithms directly into green plants, optimizing production processes and promoting new business models such as Equipment as a Service (EaaS).

The project stands out for the integration of cutting-edge technologies in EDGEAI and GENAI within the EaaS technology and patent contributed by the coordinator MYWAI. It leverages neuromorphic computing for machinery and plants, and GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) techniques in the cloud to generate synthetic data. This approach allows for continuous updates to the AI, enhancing its effectiveness and relevance, and enabling on-site training optimization.

ARHYOSA™ goes beyond the technological dimension by adopting an approach that ensures transparency and security, making AI more understandable and accessible. The implemented AI is explainable (XAI), trustworthy, and secure, fully aligned with European regulations such as the EU AI Act and the New Machinery Directive, offering a competitive edge in the emerging Green Hydrogen Economy in Italy.

This project aims to be a key solution in accelerating the transition to more sustainable energy—contributing to the green hydrogen revolution, improving efficiency in industrial processes, and promoting low environmental impact energy production.

EDGE AI

Edge AI is the use of artificial intelligence, combined with edge computing, to collect and process data close to its physical source (reducing latency). With Edge AI, data is processed in milliseconds, enabling near-instant responses—whether or not an internet connection is available. Additionally, data security can be enhanced, as sensitive data never leaves its original location, reducing the risk of breaches.

Edge Computing is a type of computing that takes place near the physical location of the user or data source, rather than in a remote data center. By placing computing services closer to where data is collected, users benefit from faster and more reliable services, improving the overall experience.

XAI

Explainable AI (XAI) is artificial intelligence designed to make AI decision-making processes transparent and understandable. Unlike “black box” models, XAI explains how and why decisions are made, ensuring:

  1. Transparency: Clear decisions with accessible reasoning.
  2. Reliability: The ability to evaluate and correct errors or biases.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Alignment with regulations such as the EU AI Act.

XAI is essential for critical applications where trust, safety, and control are vital—such as in industrial or healthcare sectors.

GEN AI

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GEN AI) is a type of AI that creates images, text, videos, and other multimedia content in response to user prompts.
It uses advanced machine learning models to analyze and replicate patterns from existing data, enabling the production of original and creative content.
